Working at Camp
Lambton Centre is looking for staff who understand that spending the summer working with and caring for children is demanding yet rewarding and that being part of a summer camp staff is not easy. It can be life-changing though. It requires patient, lots of energy, compassion, creativity and great interpersonal skills. There are many different jobs at camp but the common denominator is that all camp staff must make the campers their number one priority at all times. When thinking about working at camp, you should consider the following statement to be the basic job description for any staff member:
To do what needs to be done to ensure that the campers have a great summer camp experience.
